Romantic scenes
Romantic scenes and sweet nostalgia. In general we like quite modern art, but there was something about these old print/ watercolour pictures that attracted me. I had seen them several times before at our local antique shop but this time I decided to bring them home. I reckon they will end up on our dining room wall. I have always liked costume dramas (like Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice) and now I have a piece of "costume drama" on my wall.

Ohh I adore them! Maybe it's even better to paint the frame white, if it's possible... that's even more romance, I'd say.

Waaouw!! Your home seems to become a real palace with all those 'royal' items! Are you going to paint the frames? Maybe white would give a too strong contrast with the pictures themselves?
No, we are not going to paint them because we have a feeling they are going to look fine with the new curtains and when the rest of the dining room is done.
