Orchid

Usually I prefer cut flowers, but few days ago I bought my first ever orchid. Never dared to try one before, though I like them a lot. I have always had the impression orchids can be tricky. I am pretty good with plants, but I am not sure if I have enough green fingers to keep this one alive. Time will tell. It sure looks pretty at the moment.

You will be ok with the orchid. Just ignore it, and it will do just fine. They really need only very little water just once every two weeks. Wenn it is done blooming cut it back and put it in a cool room and mostly forget about it. Next year bring it back into the light and warmth and it will probably bloom again. It has worked for me. And I'm no hero with potted plants either.

I don't have those desired green fingers yet, but I managed to keep and orchid alive last summer. I had a beautiful pink one, and I was so trilled about this that I decided I'd try it again this year. So I'd like it if you'd keep me up to date about this... maybe I than I can truly get those green fingers!

Don't worry about the orchids!! These kind of orchids are super easy.Give them just a little water and you better give them rainwater. They should flower for one to two months! Never had a cutflower that bloomed for so long.Enkoj them they are so gourgeous.Greetings,
Nicky
